Stop lamp lens_Loose?

First of all i'm not sure if this issue has been covered yet or not,or maybe it is a new Issue?Anyway, about 2 months ago i noticed through my rear view mirror that my Stop lamp lens didn't look right...sure enough the "lens" had popped out of place.
So i took it to the dealer and sudjested that he get a coat hanger and bend the end of it into a "U" shape so that it would grab the lens so that it could be pulled back in so to speak...then 2 days later it popped out again! After looking closer at the "tab" on the lens,i noticed their is no clasp or clip to keep it from grabbing anything...Hmmm

Has anyone else had this issue yet?My Camaro has 9,200 miles on it.
