Austin Cars and Coffee March 2012
Austin Cars and Coffee March 2012
Its never too early to start planning... I'd like to try again for a breakfast meet up before a group roll in to the Cars and Coffee. For February I tried to arrage a meet up at a little donut shop straight down the road from Leander but as most of you know we were pretty much rained out. SO... March. Is anyone interested in a quick breakfast and then a group roll out? If so, where do you want to meet up? The idea is to all roll into the event early and as a group so we get a good spot and, in theory, can all park together. Having all the Camaros together in Feb. was easy as attendence was low. If the weather is good in March it will be tougher, I'm sure. Discuss... PS - FYI: The little donut shop I chose last time is exactly that, little. So's the parking lot. BUT from there its a straight shot to the event. No turns and not much traffic.

I can't vote.. I like all breakfast when I'm up early enough to eat it. Donuts, Breakfast tacos, Denny's, etc. all sound good!

the Rudy's BBQ on 183 is a good choice... it does breakfast tacos at that hour, but trust me, they're good and they're very filling!
but since I'm a morning person, I'll eat whatever the group says we're going to

What time would we need to be there in the morning to give us enough time to eat and make it over to c&c for a parking spot?

I kind of want to participate in the cruise down to Austin from DFW. Think it would be fun. Havn't decided yet though.

The address of that particular Rudy's doesn't map correctly on Google Maps but the CC's pizza joint directly behind it does map correctly (and it's the location of the overflow parking mentioned above). Here's the address: 2300 Chisholm Trail, Round Rock, TX Linky: http://g.co/maps/rt58a The only problem is going to be keeping a large group of cars together if we want to caravan/convoy to the event in Leander. Getting back onto Northbound I35 is annoying by yourself, nearly impossible as a group from that Rudy's. Heading out the back way is easy as pie with some nice little back roads but there are a couple of left turns and/or traffic lights that could break us up into smaller groups. Still, going the back roads is only about 12 miles to the event.
