New Pfadt Fabricated Rear Trailing Arm available NOW!!!

Hey everyone, The Pfadt Rear Trailing Arm is now complete and in-stock! We have had a lot of interest in this product, and its finally available!

This direct replacement trailing arm, is part of our ongoing effort to provide well engineered solutions to Camaro suspension shortcomings. We highly believe that taking this iterative design approach, and putting in analysis time on our designs to come up with a refined component, is what gives us our advantages over the competition.

Our new Pfadt trailing arm sets itself apart from other offerings. Take a look below.

Designing this part to be both lighter weight and higher strength then the factory component proved to be rather difficult, but was well worth the time involved, as we feel it resulted in the best replacement trailing arm on the market.

Here are some details:
300% strength increase in tension and compression
65% reduction in deflection
20% weight reduction each, including bushings (take a look at the comparison pictures!)
Grease fitting for easy lubrication
Polyurethane trailing arm bushing kit is included
Powder coated silver

Please feel free to give us feedback on this item. We are looking forward to hearing what you think, and please give us a call/PM in regards to pricing. Thanks guys!

Do they aide in reducing dreaded wheel hop?
Very Nice

Looks very cool, job well done.

I will have to look into these since I even get some wheel hop in my car and it's the V6, but a great V6.

Hi Jchaluja,

Yes, 6% indeed. Not sure what that transfers to in the overall lbs. I didn't weigh them myself. The reason why we mention that, is because we are very happy with the outcome of having this trailing arm be tremendously stiffer, while maintaining the original material, and STILL be lighter than the OEM component, minus bushings. The weight of the bushings themselves are not apples to apples, because the factory bushings weigh close to double that of the ones we supply. With the bushings factored in, the weight savings is 15% per arm.

I cant speak to if it will lower your ET or not. What I can say is that this Pfadt trailing arm WILL reduce the compliance in your rear suspension, and transfer acceleration loads at a faster rate. That will not be a bad thing for drag racing. Under loading the OEM trailing arms and toe links deflect a large amount, and can affect the static alignment settings in an unfavorable way. This product, as well as our Pfadt Toe Link Reinforcement, will influence the "dynamic" alignment in your rear suspension, by keeping it much closer to what you set it at. More info on the Toe Link Reinforcement below. This is a great combination of products for the Camaro rear suspension.
