Who is lowered and smashed your front spoiler?
I'm about to lower my car with some drop springs and I'm a little worried about pulling up to a curb or parking stop and smashing my front spoiler (no GFX kit).
I'm curious if anyone has already done that? I know when I've pulled into some parking spaces my spoiler clears but not sure if it was 1"-1.25" lower that it would.

Whenever I lower a car I make sure I know when to stop when parking so that the bumper doesn't reach the parking stop. Some are higher than others

you just gotta be cautious of how far you pull up.
if your worried, just back in. there rear bumper has more ground clearance than the front. even when mine was stock ride height i always backed in, b/c of this.

There is always a curb stone ready to take off your front fascia body work, always. Drive your lowered Camaro like a Corvette or any other factory low car. Know when to stop. Take driveway ramps at an angle, especially when you see gouges in the pavement from big truck dragging frame. These are famous last words, I have been driving lowered cars for years and never smashed my front spoiler, well there have been a few tiny scratches LOL

I've owned IROC-Z's so I'm very cautious

Always park in New Car parking area (furthest away from stores where no one else parks) and always stop short. (do not park by ear).

Haven't "smashed" anything. Scraped the airdam (black piece) once or twice pulling into my driveway. Not too concerned about that.

So....so far no one has smashed thier spoiler? I'm hoping that I get that lucky. On my Supra I had lowered I smashed it at least 3 or 4 times.

Since lowering I'm just extra cautious. Usually I end up with like a foot between my car and the curb but better safe than sorry.

I dropped mine and I have the GFX kit on it and have no problems. I have the Hotchkis TVS system on my car. I love this system handles better and the ride is alittle smoother then stock.

I did a good scrape with the GFX on a dip. You will loose some ground clearance with long tube headers too. Really have to watch for those mega-speed bumps too.
