Sign me up for the smaller displacement C7 Base too.
Just as long as it saves more money then what the Z-51/NAV option adds because the "As tested" price on Motor Trends C7 tester with Z-51 package would cost over $75,000 after tax/license and over $60,000 for the base once its sitting in the driveway. Its gotta be a signifiant savings in order to keep it priced below the base Stingrays msrp of $54,795 even after clicking a few box's on the option list, which may be difficult considering the one Motor trend tested had $13,000 in options.

Hopefully they also have a complete fuel system upgrade with pumps and injectors because that seems to be what is holding back just about every other direct injection engine when it comes to adding more power from aftermarket vendors selling head's, cam's and FI kits.

From what Car and Driver talked about in the video, the new Stingray appears to be a monster right out of the box. Ive had a chance to check out LMR's machined heads and they look outstanding. If those heads perform half as good as the look, then the new Stingray is going to be BEAST !!

I called Hennessey last week for details on getting a ZL1 or Stingray with the 700 HP package sometime next year.

They gave me the information I needed on how to go about doing it. Time varies as far as how quickly they can do the install on a Stingray...later on will be quicker than some of the first ones they are putting out early on. Also, I'm still vacillating between a ZL1 and a Stingray
They said if I ordered in April or thereabouts it might take a month or so to get everything put together. I've got some time to work out the details, such as whether to have them purchase it (at MSRP) or try to get it cheaper but ship it there somehow. They have a dealer out here in Seattle they work with, so that might also be a way to go about this.
