Adding a Sub and Amp to a Non BA Camaro DIY

Finished adding a sub and amp today for under $200 and created a DIY if anyone is interested in doing it. I searched and researched and no one has really documented or has taken decent pictures and outline how to do it. Hope this helps. Amp and Sub are Kicker, sounds great!

Homewrecker, it sounds awesome, compared to the stock stereo's original sound. Much improved and the base is deep. If I had to do it again, I would have spent a little more. But I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend a lot of money on a system, which I may screw up. All in all, definitely worth the upgrade for just under 200 dollars. The DIY is the PDF attachment I created and is attached. Good luck on your project if you decide to do it.

You're the best! Thank you. I want to do this badly. BTW are you in California?

Very nice write up. I hope you don't mind me adding my .02 into it... Just to reduce splicing and tapping, you can make some plug and play harnesses that plug in inline with the factory harness and the rear speakers to give the LOC the speaker signal...

For those willing to take the extra step, you can find my write up here:
