Thanks CD2! Got any pics of what the wheel spacers look like? I took it over to my buddy at a local auto body shop, and he can get the wheels painted for around $200 a piece. He said that the GM rims on the car cost around $550 each to replace and suggested to do the repaint instead. But, I am open to options such as wheel spacers also.

Thanks! Yours looks awesome as well! One of the things I like about your car is the black strips in the gills. I would like to do that on mine also.

And welcome. Very nice car. Awesome color!!
Thanks! I will check into that.

I thought red SS emblems indicated that it is an RS.

Awesome car, I need to go through sconi next year to visit folks and potentially a G8 gathering. Making plans to put mine away this winter, got my car cover delivered yesterday, sucks.

Congrats and welcome. I thought 2SS RS too, red SS emblems usually indicates that.

I will say it again for clarification.

Red SS badge indicates that it is an SS/RS

a 1SS or a 2SS can have red or silver SS badges. Silver SS badges indicate a non-RS car.

Edit: Hope that I don't sound too rude, but the color of the badge does not indicate 1SS/2SS designation.

Welcome

Welcome to the group. Like some others have already stated, great color choice. Definitely one of the better choices IMO.

Why do that? I am just about to start my 4th winter with my 2011 2SS/RS. Just get a set of Blizzak snow tires on 18 inch wheels (cut off the hockey pucks on the front brakes) from Tire Rack. You will have no problems getting around all winter! Mine is at 94+K on the odometer, and still looks new.
