Question Magnacharger Coolant Reservoir Relocation - Hose Routing?

To those of you who have relocated the coolant reservoir for your TVS2300 to the driver's side, how did you route the hoses? Did you extend them and keep the reservoir in the same relative location in the cooling circuit, or did you move it to another location in the loop? I'm getting ready to install my Maggie and I want to move the reservoir to the driver's side in preparation for Roto-Fab's Maggie reservoir kit that is coming down the pipeline. Thanks in advance!

I am getting ready to relocate mine to the driverside also. All you have to do is turn thebottle around. You want the coolant to flow through the bottle the same direction as it does on the pass side and yes splice into drivers side loop.

Are you guys maintaining the same location for the pump when you relocate the reservoir to the drivers side?

I'm planning on leaving the pump in the intended location because the wiring harness is set up for that spot.

Here's a quick photochop I did the other day. I gather that this would work if I turned the bottle around? Are there any issues with the "cold" coolant flowing into the reservoir first before entering the intercooler?

Hope these may help / how I did it installing a kit

So essentially you just route the system the same manner, run the line on the passenger side all the way to the back of the blower in a similar fashion to the way magnacharger describes. Then move the resevoir to the right side with the high side facing the front of the car (because the fluid flows this direction, at least with the intercooler pump in standard configuration). We made a bracket to fit the stud there in the fendor well which worked real nice.

Here is an excerpt from the email I received from Simon at Magnuson:

Quote:
...try and feed the intercooler pump from the lower barb on the reservoir and that the return hose to the reservoir should go to the higher barb on the reservoir (normally we have the reservoir be the high point in the system so having the return hose on top helps with bleeding out any air that gets trapped in the system). If you follow those two guidelines you should be OK.
