1969 SS vs 2010 2LT ... vs 328i?
What do you guys think?
Heres something else though... 328i vs 2LT Not about which is fastest but as my first car. Lets face it the new camaro has a lot more power and that is prob making my dad nervous. So yeah my dad's lookin to get two cars one for him and one for me and he wants to get his old high school car the '69 SS for him and right now I have a choice of either a 2LT or an 328i like the thread said. The thing is that if I get the 2LT my dad might not get his old muscle car since there would already be a camaro in the house haha. Whats better, getting the new 2LT (which means more to me than the old 69 because...well Im young and thats not my generation) but maybe not have minimal access to the 69 Camaro OR lease the 328i and have minimal access to the 69? I reallyyy think its not even something to think about because think about it... 2 cars vs 1 car. And in three years you throw back the lease and pick up a used 2010 camaro! But I feel like that my dad talking about his old 69 is just him talking and he might not do it. I guess just comment on that and let me know what you think about these: 328i vs 2LT as my first car 69 SS vs 2LT in general Thankss! |

To drive every day or on any sort of regular basis the 2010 is flat out better and a lot less hassle from maintence, etc. As a toy I'd take the '69 SS, it's just classic cool. The old fart in me also thinks teenagers are better off with the safety of a modern vehicle as well. As for the 328 vs 2LT for a first car, I'm not even going to touch that except to say you're spoiled rotten to get that choice, good luck.

I'd go with 2LT over the 69 only due to the modern conveniences that come with the 2LT. The 69 definately has the cool factor, but must seem like a stone-age vehicle by today's standards.
Although the counter to that would be that you could actually work on a 69 yourself without needing a degree in computer technology. If you're mechanically inclined, I'd say that's a vote in the 69's favor. Hard to say in the 2LT vs. 328i. I guess it would come down to personal preference. |

Definitely the bmw, its faster and handles better then the 2lt, and its a much nicer vehicle. But if you want the wow factor without the punch, you can't go wrong with the 2010 camaro, its one of the hottest cars out there right now.

Take it from me get the Camaro. I just sold a BMW M3 and yeah it was fun , yeah it was Fast and yeah it handled like no other however after they start to get miles they start to break down. The Parts are cheap however labor is what cost big time !!!!!! I fixed everything myself by doing it that way every job has its own special wrench like a fan clutch wrench 32mm lol yikes I now still have that but as a dam weapon for protection The first thing on a bmw that goes out as it gets older the cooling system which consist of radiator , expansion tank , thermostat housing with built in stat and etc when one thing messes up you have to replace it all or it wont work. IF you do get a BMW one website you will need to know of lol pelicanparts.com Fun cars but a hassel for sure. |

i think the 2010 camaro wins both....
'69 camaro would seem like a hassle altho if you could pick up megan fox in it the car might be worth it as for 328 vs 2lt i still think the camaro wins but i believe thats just the because of the wow factor that the camaro has going on. UNDENIABLY both cars are great, but the wow factor would definitely help with regard to college chicks hehe |

If this is a new BMW then all maintenance will be free. Oil changes and everything. For some that is a plus.
