Since this is a ZL1 forum then I say get the ZL1. Either way is a big win for you.

Or are you saying that you were too worried about it and couldn't enjoy it? Sounds like a lot of people on the Z06 forums...

[QUOTE=880;5530051]So did your Z06 actually drop a valve?

How bad is the "Corvette Tax"? Something to take into account if you're planning on modding your car.

My car only had 4k miles on it,it was modded.Had a big cam, which makes the problem even worse. After seeing all the threads about broken valves, and guide wear,It got to where I was just scared to drive the car.I have to say now,I wish I had stayed off the forums, and kept my Z06.

How do you figure.. the ZL1 would dominate the vette.. the only corvette that would kill the ZL1 is the ZR1....

The ZL1 is too. (except that most people are running high 12s/low 13s, lol) an extra 1000 lbs will do that to ya. It's a driver's race. |

Add curves and it would get worse for the ZL1.

If money were no object (and it always is with me), I wouldn't even think twice - 427 Vette. However, the difference in price IS significant, IMHO. |
