I didn't get that message after I installed mine. Could be that you didn't push the airbag wire in completely. I noticed it was a little stiff going back in. Take the airbag back off and make sure it's plugged all the way in. Also, just curious did you unplug the battery before you did the install?

Yes I unplugged the battery. I guess I could check the wires. Just the two wires that go into the air bag?

When I take th airbag back off should I unplug the battery again? Or just make sure all wires are pushed all the way in?

Personally I would unplug the batter again just to be on the safe side. You don't want it to accidently deploy. I would also pull the wire completely out and then push it all the way in.

I seem to remember getting an errant message like that when I did mine. Unplugging the battery really confuses the car's computer and you get stuff like that. It should go away.

I rechecked the plugs and wires. Unplugged battery then did it. It might just need to relearn everything. Seems as if all my settings got reset. The computer doesn't read the tire sensors either. Otherwise when I take it to dealer to redo the computer I'm sure they can fix this issue. Hopefully

That sucks but I'm sure it's an easy fix for the dealer. Hopefully they won't overcharge you for it.

just be careful if not programmed correctly with onstar they will send a kill signal to disable it because their system will see it as someone trying to hack them or atleast thats what I was told by them

Try to unplug, re-plug the staring wheel airbag wire. I had a similar problem with my driver seat airbag when I switch to leather.

For the tire, you can do the learning steps in the owner manual. Easy and require 1-2 minutes.

Thank you for your great site and products. Quick question though, since I want to get an OnStar module for bluetooth calling, would the normal PDIM you sell on your site work or do I need a special one that works with the OnStar module?
