Chicago Tribune ZL1 Review

Interesting reading here on the ZL1. It's biggest drawback is the Camaro's visibility issues. For a little less money than a Corvette Grand Sport, the ZL1, at $56,295 (including a $900 destination charge and $1,300 gas-guzzler tax), is the baddest Camaro ever.

Wonder if this author ever really drove a ZL1. So many of his comments are hogwash!

I doubt he has driven a ZL1. There is no drone. The car is smoother than my GTO was in both tour and sport mode. Perfectly "streetable" - no need for a trailer. 20+ mpg on trips @ 70-74 mph.

Obviously copied information from a ZL1 brochure to put this crap together! Difficult to mange in traffic, no way man, shifts easily in traffic with great range per gear. I don't mine local traffic one bit!

I think the reviewer has a suppressed love for a Prius.

OMG a review that doesnt Love the ZL1 it must be fake or hes never driven the car! Get the mob together!

1. the Tribune is always harsh on every car they review so dont take it personally. I cant recall them ever loving everything about any car they review.

2. Its a newspaper review, who cares

Hey harsh reviews happen . . . but I honestly do not understand his comments . .

But leave it to a crappy paper from a crappy crooked town . .

I've read some of his other reviews, I don't think he's much of a muscle car guy, he was much more enthusiastic about various soccer-mom mobiles.

These cars are hard to back up without a back-up mirror I'd love one.

"If you live more than an hour away from that track, though, you may want to tow it there."

What a Muppet!

I don't get this visibility thing either, unless you're in a neck brace or completely unconscious all you have to do is stick your head out the sunroof and you're good.

These complaints make no sense to me.
