I did the same thing. Totally worth it, and I don't have to worry about wear on that suede knob.

^that shifter is badass. I wonder if you can get it with 1LE on top? My original is still in great shape but I would consider a 1LE knob like the one above.

Unlike the REAL suede steering wheel, that came in my ex-Alpina BMW, and would last about as long as it takes to smoke a few cigarettes, the microfibre (fake Suede) in Sledge seems to be holding out just fine. In fact it still looks flawless, and frankly not surprised at all, considering it's microfibre material.
If any of you are having issues, I think it may help to wash those hands once in a while. |

Just be sure to order to the larger knob if ordering through Epco. The rally knobs are a bit smaller than the all orange one I have

My 8-ball is the 2 1/8" size. It is just about right in the hand...

Just ordered my shift knob from EPCO. Got a 2 1/4" red with black 1LE inlay. Now the waiting game for it to get here.
