White/Black specific wax products

Hi all !

As you can see i have a Summit white Camaro. I use Meguiars wax (not sure which one specially and noticed a white wax for cars. (they also make a black one) does it make any difference in the end?

i have a phone pic of the wax i was looking at and am still learning!

thanks in advance! (still trying for that perfect photo shot!)

Never tried but thanks for posting the pic. I was wondering how the gas lid would look black!

Mequiars white wax has a little more of a cleaner in it then the back wax, its almost like a AIO. All you need now is some quick detailer to keep the shine up.

Next time you do a full detail try Iron X after claying and you will be surprised of the stuff the comes off your car.

Car looks good, I think a clean white Camaro is one of the best looking ones.

You not only have the best color imo you have the easiest to take care of. I use "Mequires Cleaner/Wax"
on my SW Camaro. I detail at least one panel a week and my car stays looking like new.
I've never tried their white product.

It doesn't matter what kind of wax you use, it all bonds to the clear coat not the color itself. The wax doesn't distinguish between colors.

Where did you get your gas cap cover. Is it lockable? Sorry to be off subject but I need to replace my stock door with something that locks.

As long as you understand that anything tinted is only giving you a temporary filling effect (black products) and anything for white is likely using some additional cleaners (most cases kaolin clay mixed in with the polish/wax) then its all good.

Where many of these products go off the rails IMHO is when they start promising things that can only be achieved with polishing and paint correction. If you want a quick fix, temporary solution then a colored to tinted product might be for you.
