With the way the prices have fallen out the bottom I don't see how I could ever get rid of it.

Now this is what I'd love to do.....have daily drivers and keepers......if I could do it I'd keep the ZL1 and just upgrade and buy new cars when I saw something I love. Good on you for doing well enough to be able to do this!

The Gen6 does nothing for me. At all. It is way too corporate looking, especially inside. Go sit in a SS, Malibu, Cruze, etc. They ALL look like the Gen6 Camaro. I'm sorry, but that's my opinion.

I love the simplicity of the ZL1 interior. In fact, that's why I love my '12 model...No touch screen! I still have OnStar and XM, but no big TV screen taking up space and my attention. And that's just one example.

The side gills! Being a loooong time '69 Camaro owner (since high school), I just really love the retro look of the Gen5.

And now performance...Once I installed the JRE75rwhp kit and PFADT headers a few weeks ago, this car has now become an even more "old school" type hot rod. Lay down on the go pedal and you are in for the sweetest music ever heard on asphalt. I wouldn't dare put any exhaust controller on this thing. That sound and torque is exactly why I have a ZL1. It is unmatched. And I doubt there's anything out there that can top it. If you haven't modded your car, just do it. You won't regret it.

And I saved the best for last. Our first Grandson was born on Friday! He's going to love going for rides---and inheriting my ZL1 in 16 years.

Yea, it's a keeper.

See you on the track...
Couldn't agree with you more!

Had mine ordered and its exactly what I've wanted. Can't see myself getting rid of this at all, it's definitely a keeper.

Have this car for almost 3 years and still not bored with it. Actually it's an adrenaline rush each time I drive it. Plan to keep this beast until the last bolt falls off of it.

I plan on keeping mine for quite some time. Maybe sell it one day, or pass it on in the family.

I've had a lot of Camaros over the years (14 I think ). Other than my 01 Procharged SS, this is the most fun. I'm about to do some upgrades to the heat exchanger and take it to the track for the first time. I really love this car. Gen 6 will have to come out with something special to get me to trade.

that's love

It's interesting that those who have been fortunate enough to own one universally adore them. Smooth, powerful refined chassis

Love mine but I'd part with it if the right opportunity comes along. I do tend to keep my hot rods. The '95 still puts a big grin on my face every time I fire it up.

There's nothing like the sound and feel of an old school small block. I loved the bottom end torque of my old h/c lt1. That being said, these ls motors pull like a freight train up top. If I can get my ZL1 to run like my ls SS, I'll be very pleased. Then I know there's no way I'm getting rid of it.

You have a way with words, Dan. Congrats Granddad! . I'm sure he's gonna hate putting gas in the Z in 16 years when it's $9 a gallon. lol!!

I usually trade my cars about every 3-4 years when something significantly faster is available. Having said that, unless I somehow win the lottery and can buy a Bugatti or Mclaren P1, I think this ZL1 is going to be in my garage for a while (if I ever get it back in my garage...lol) I got a little crazy with the mods on this one and it is going to be hard to find something faster. I love driving it though. It is so much faster and smoother than my Stingray.

Uhh, I think it will be impossible to find another street car as fast as yours! Yours is definitely a keeper.
