There's cracking in the paint and the small part that was rusted was just painted over they did'nt even boter sanding it out. My door panels got painted and weren't put back on correctly so know they're hanging off. My front original leather seats that were in perfect condition now have paint on them. I expected more for $1300. Sorry for the rant but I'm just pissed. :(
Dang $1,300 for that?? Macco will do a better job for $400
I would definatly take it back and see if they would fix the problems first, and then if they wouldn't I would say see you in Court!!!!

Sometimes it's also best to do a lot of your own prep work etc.
I dont know about that, The lime green car you see on the left of me i restored from the ground up and the ****er that took the car to put the cheater corners on it and the new trunk and floor panels left it outside after i had spend countless hours sanding and priming the car, it rusted through and i had to start over again, ran out of time and took it to a body shop for him to re-paint, quit my job to helf with the work.. just finished it three days before i had to move. I wanted to kill the welder

Sorry to hear about the lousy paint job, but as a bodyshop owner for 24 years, let me just say: $1300 is not what a quality job costs. Depending on the condition of the car you should expect to pay $5000 or more. Hell, the cost of the materials from my Dupont supplier will run at least $800! I won't do "cheap" paint jobs. That's what MAACO is for. I like the old saying: "The quality of work done for nothing is usually equal to the fee."

Hello,

Sorry about your experience, however, you do get what you pay for and $1,300 is not anywhere near what a quality paint job costs, especially if you were thinking it would be a complete tear down and paint job. As stated above you get the quality of the work equal to the amount paid.

Thanks,

Thanks,
this is old. and yes i got what I paied for. But I honestly expected better, especially from seeing the other cars they had. Oh well it's in the past and the car still looks better than it did before.

yes it is. Pictures do the car more justice. trust me it's not terrible but it is bad enough.
Either way the car was never meant to be a garage queen. I drive it daily and it's still running strong.

I don't know what you guys are talking about concerning the price...I've had cars painted for 1,000 dollars and it was a great job, as good as factory anyway.

When you're going to them, tell them you moderate a Camaro community of about 21k members. Your bad word about them goes pretty far.

I didn't expect a perfect job, but it was certainly less than I expected.
