March 11 open test and tune at SIR gates open at 6pm and street legal night on the 12th gates open at 6pm as well. anyone interested

So after being in and out of this thread from time to time. Now that I have my ride I should probably formally introduce myself. My name is Scott. Bought an ordered 2011 2LT RS m6 IBM last week. I graduated from UofA last year so I still live around campus. I work work at Raytheon under the title of Software Engineer.

Im not sure if its this windy weather kicking up dust but it seems like IBM is going to be hard to keep clean!!! A layer of dust quickly settled on her and Im waiting on an Adams Polishes order to clean it off.

For only being a v6, I feel like a million bucks driving the camaro and LOVE driving her.

Welcome to the section. You should hook up with use on some of our events. 4 of us just supported an effort to raise money for the shooting victims and their families via a car show at the Foothills mall. It was a little windy, but well worth the fun.

Welcome Scott. Mine is also IBM so I share your pain. The best part is, that it really sparkles when it's clean. Our next get together is this Saturday morning at Southwestern International Raceway off Houghton south of I-10 to do a little drag racing. Come out if you have the time. Gates open at 8 AM.

TJ - glad nothing permanent. And you're right - someday we should have a detail/project day. I'm going to get my engine cover painted and this means I'm going to need to detail the engine if I'm going to show it off. I'm going to need some tips. I feel like every time I get together with you guys I learn something new - love it!

Hello everyone I have a suggestion for the next meet up if anyone is interested. There has been an informal Meet and Greet Car show on the second Saturday of every month for the past year or so. It is held at the shopping center on the North West corner of Sunrise and Campbell Ave. An AJ’s market is located there and has a great bakery coffee and a nice patio to sit and watch the Cars. There is usually a nice variety of cars and some interesting people. The next one will be Saturday March 12th and people usually start arriving approx. 8:30. If anyone is interested or wants more information please let me know.

But seriously a ton of different cars to look at.
