I had thought it would have been cool had GM used the Fest to announce the Z28 I mean ZL1. But I think there is just too much lost not using Detroit, LA or Chicago for that.

As for the suggested ride and drive, until the car is properly validated and signed off for compliance only test drivers are driving and I don't think general public gets to go for rides. Look at the Z/28. It was announced. It was at the Fest and no one got to ride or drive it. Same opportunity existed right there in Indy.

Agree it would be a cool opportunity though.

My biggest fest fail was when we were at Fest 1 and Scott said, "go get one of the display cars. The keys are in the plastic box". I grabbed the Dale Jr. Camaro and had a blast. What did I pass up on? The SEMA LS7 Camaro. I am such a stupid!

Edit: I did go look at your #23 thread mlee. Are those pipes stock with just the mild-to-wild?

Mine is 100% stock. M2W was turned off, but you really can't hear anything w/ the camera up front.

I think if I got some of those cool advertisements in my video it would look a lot faster.

...excellent anecdotal story Number 3, now...it matters not which one you tooled around with, or had the opportunity to drive, but...whether or not you stood on it some....heh..heh..., you know, when nobody was looking...

. Or in plain view, if you know what I mean....
