I had them do the film 18 inches on the hood and fenders, as well as the back of the mirrors. The standard packages at most places is 12 inches as you mentioned. The chips I got before putting it on are about 4 inches from the end of the hood. They offered to do the whole hood and front fenders for $1,000 which they said is normally $1,400, but I chose to go with just the 18 inches. The front fascia and bumper would b another $500.

Is your nick on the hood? I didn't get the fascia/bumper done since it's plastic and will likely take it better than the metal parts.

Around 9am, I left to drive just 4 Miles to the bra/tint shop and arrived with two paint chips on the hood where the bra was going to be installed!! The paint is very thin and the chips are down to the metal :( Worse yet, not a single dealer in the metro area has touch up paint in stock for the orange Camaro yet and most of them can't find the order code because it's too new.

Bottom line..I'd recommend the clearbra as soon as you can get it on the car!!
Man, the 300 mile rally road trip the bunch went on only resulted in a TINY chip on my mirror and a couple of door dings from each other-4 miles? so sad

Touch Up Paint

Laramie GM can custom mix the touch up bottles. Tom & I already used it and it is perfect.
Some of your Colorado dealers need to get a clue. Let me know who all wants some IOM or ?? and I can get them started. Or "Streetracer" if you cant reach me.

You guys have it all going on up there. Is that only for IOM or can I get some dark blue.....lol just kidding I can get my color cause it is the same code as Impala.

Are there any more members that want to come out to Highplains Raceway east of Denver on August 1 for a car show and August 2nd for Hot laps all day with the Peak Eurosports club. We have six confirmed thus far and have room for another 4 for race day. and 9 for the car show. Give me a PM and I will get you the info..

PM sent

The nick is by one of the headlights on the curve. Annoying more than anything.
I hate when I start noticing these type of things.

I'm only going with 12" on the hood. I used bug splatter to gauge where the hood catches debris. I also used a ribbon (don't laugh guys) marked off in 6" increments to see how far up I wanted to go. It looked like the 12" would work great on the hood. I put 6" on the roof because that's the next bug catching spot!

The two that had 18" done on your hoods, please post pix. Most of the car has been done but I'm having the stripes painted on so have to wait 30 days for the paint to cure.

Cars available?

Changing the subject.
Check this out if your still waiting on a car. They say several available. won't clutter up area 51 or warehouse 13, but who knows? AZ is a big market

Yeah, i'd say judging from the pictures it's an early 80's, possibly Berlinetta... Very sad though.
