The real difference between spray detailer and spray wax

Hello,

I always asumed detailer is used after an actual coat of wax has been applied, or does detailer have wax in it it. Can anyone break down the differences in them?

I use Zaino Z5 then finish off with Z6 spray. Adds to protection, cleans up any Z5 that may be lingering and adds more shine. In between my Z5 application I use Z6 exclusively to keep it protected and shiny.

Quick detail is used just spruce up the appearance of the paint (have gloss enhancers) and remove any water spots that have appeared. Spray waxes are stand alone products. You are adding a layer of protection to the paint. The reason everyone doesn't just use a spray wax instead of a QD is because they may change the look of the LSP that is on the vehicle. An example would be a car wearing Ziano , highly reflective and bright appearance. If you used a spray wax it would completely change the look of the gloss or look of the car and give it a toned down look.
