I heard a noise yesterday as well, turned off the radio and it was the gas in the tank slushing back and forth.

Could it be the same noise people are describing in this active thread?

back when i first got my car there was a clicking noise that i noticed more when i was going in reverse or turning at slow speeds. it ended up being the the half shafts needed more lubrication. dealer took care of it in 10 min.

I notice a GRINDING noise every once in a while when backing up. It SEEMS to be coming from the left front of the car. I can't tell if it's brakes or transmission.

Unfortunately, it only happens every once in a while (mostly when I'm not really paying attention or ready for it) so I can't narrow it down.

Car runs fine though and no other REAL problems...

I dunno.
