I take an interest in all things electronics, I just don't know everything which is why I asked about the lens.

Does it lower the quality at all? I doubt you would use it if it did, but even I can notice subtle changes to quality in HD tvs and I nit pick way too much about my LCD computer monitors
It doesn't lower the image quality at all, in fact it may improve it slightly. Very similar to how you mentioned movies on the 16x9 sets, you said they weren't utilizing all the pixels, or at least a portion is used to produce the black bars. Well when you scale the image you ARE using all the pixels to produce the picture in this case, and the lens is just fixing the distortion. My biggest complaint about using it is if you are trying to access the DVD or Blu-Ray menu, the menu gets scaled right out of the picture if it's not a pop-up style menu, and even then sometimes half the menu gets cropped...The increase in picture size and the black bars being gone is well worth it though.

I've gotten to see a few cool looking HT set ups and rooms, but one word came out of my mouth when I saw that.

WOW.

I love it. I did all the wiring for my set up (nothing compared to something like that), but still...i did it and the family loves it. My wife got my receiver....JVC...and it kicks ass. I have Klipsh speakers (and a couple Polk surrounds). It sounds pretty good. I can't complain one bit. And the wife loves it. So, we're set.

But, I wish I had a dedicated room. Incredible, man!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the nice words and reactions!! Here are some more pics of the Batsuit and the entrance, some of the pics are not as sharp as the other but they weren't taken with as nice a camera...
