Spoiler Question

So I've been looking around for a 12 2LT/RS with a sunroof. Found this one recently listed:

http://www.fermanchevy.com/VehicleDe...-FL/1973978953

Its got everything I want with but one thing i really do not want....the high wing spoiler

So my question is can it be removed and replaced with the normal factory spoiler? And if so any chance the dealer will do it before I buy it?

Oh yeah and what do you guys think about the list price of $26,900? How much can I get them down?

Yeah I'm right there with you with junking the spoiler that looks bad. If you can get them to put the stock spoiler on that's great. If not talk them down to around 25 grand, and put the stock or ZL1 spoiler on because that spoiler they have on now looks like a ricer

Just FYI, that highwing spoiler actually doesn't use the factory holes on the trunk the stock spoilers attaches to. The highwing is actually bolted using different holes that are drilled into the trunk surface, so if you were to remove it you going to be left with holes on top of the trunk lid even with the stock one mounted unless you bring it to a shop to have it filled and re painted or to buy a different trunk lid.

Look at this link here and youll see what im talking about.

With the money you would make off selling that spoiler it would be easy to throw another spoiler of your choice. I recommend the ZL1 spoiler, it's cheap and looks great.

Yeah I mean I would not be opposed to the ZL1 spoiler at all but if its gonna leave holes on the trunk in order the remove the high wing then I think I might be better off [FONT=&quot]continuing to search around.

Really do not like the idea of having to replace the trunk or fill the holes on a car I just purchased.

If it was IBM, I would trade trunk lid/spoiler assembly.
