well, to be fair, it was rated 304, and i get over 30mpg on the freeway

Heck, I have hit almost 27 MPG with my SS. Guess people are pretty much free to say what they wish. My overall average though including city and highway is around 22 mpg. Which isn't too hard to take.

meh. Not all dealers are well informed, not that big of a deal. In fact a large majority of them are ill-informed.

I don't see the big deal. Its probably more accurate than the majority of CL auto ads...

Even though we know its 312, it doesnt change the fact that it was released at 304, chevy website continued to advertise 304 after the new numbers came out, for all purposes, it is officially 304 even if we know different. Advertising a 2010 as 312hp would probably confuse the majority of people out there when they look it up and everywhere else it will say less. Just saying..

The funny part is, it is advertised with the MUSTANG hp rating. Come on people.
