Agreed. Sex on wheels. (hence the fact that I jumped for joy when I purchased mine)
I have no doubt that my wife checks my shirts for strange perfume every time I come home from driving it.

If it's not a jump with a pause in the air like an 80's sitcom show close, I don't think it counts anymore.

No kidding! I'm WAY to old and brittle to be jumping around like that.

Besides, if I WAS going to buy a Japanese car it would be a Mazda (they have "Ford Motor Company" stenciled inside their door frames).

It's nice to realize that you can buy an import that was... made in America?

I got my 45th the day before Thanksgiving here in PA. It's an RS with sunroof. Minor mods, I put blue LEDs in the interior dome light & trunk light. Got a nice license plate frame, picked up the 45th floor mats, splash guards and Drake Bowtie delete for front. I would like a car cover that is good for both inside & outside, black with striping to match what's underneath. I am having some issues with iPod static so for now I am using a Sansa Clip+. Pictures coming soon.

I also got my footwell lighting installed the week before. Right not it's just tied to the dome, but I may add an override switch at some point to keep them on without the dome sometimes.
hey how much did the footwell lighting cost i have the leds to put in they want $150 per well to make them come on with the lights

About 5-10 bucks for a few supplies at radio shack. But that counts some extra wire I picked up and stuff. Took me like 20-30 min at most. Wasn't too bad, there are a few great tolutorials on the site in the dyi section.

Of course that doesn't count the lights themselves. I managed to get them for Xmas.

Gorgeous weather today, freshly washed/waxed pony car...

Needless to say I was out showing off my ride. I had a few errands to run and when the list got near the bottom I started making up more things I needed to do so I could keep rolling. Got a LOT of stares and double-takes. A couple of folks grabbing their buddy and pointing...

I'm not in it for the ego strokes but hey, I'm human. I can't help but smile when it happens.

It was a good morning.

Now for my good afternoon I'm about to take my way-too-f'n-fast bike out and carve some twisties.

I hear you all the way! Detailed my baby today and threw my new Lloyd "Camaro SS" mats in Red in there. Lovin the look and for those wondering the mat color to get was "Ebony". My dad got Lloyd mats for his '08 Avalanche and the carpet and mats were slightly a different match. Figured I'd give those with the 45th a heads up on what mat to get. Also ordered the backseat mats as well. Heck, no one hardly ever gets back there, but this is just good re-assurance for me.

Unfortunately I don't even want to drive out of my own driveway cause it's gravel (and 1 mile long) so it gets dusty every time.
However, I'm headed to my roommates house in the morning cause we're caravanning the 230 miles back to school and I'll hose the "Black Widow" off there.

Dammit, now there is something ELSE that I want for my car. The list just keeps getting longer.
