Thanks for posting your experience with the dash swap. It looks great! Any ideas on where to obtain one (besides ordering from a dealer)?

I'm thinking of doing the same thing to an '11 convertible, but also changing the door lock controls to the '12 style (each door + center) and changing the center rearview mirror to the '12 mirror/camera setup at the same time. Ofer mentioned the lock controls might be a problem with the '10 in his Mylink thread. I'm hoping not so much with the '11.

I'm going to wait on this dash/door mod until the Ofer's Mylink radio change info is finalized as I'll change the antenna cable at the same time. I may not ever change to the MyLink radio, but I only want to take the dash/doors apart like this once.

Can anyone chime in with the part numbers necessary to convert a 2010 to a 2012+ dash with HUD? I saw in an earlier post that the OP gave the part number for the suede insert. Just want to know if that's the only part number needed or if it's multiple part numbers that are required.

I looked at this site, and couldn't find any information about the dash...but I am probably being dumb. Do you know what I need to search to find the dash's that are for sale?

If your going to pull the dash, you may just want to go ahead and do the HUD.
