I don't hate it, but I'm not sure I love it. Have to wait to see one in person.

you would think that Chevy would get the color right the second time around, wouldn't you? i just can't belive people didn't send letters or something to someone that it was in charge of the project. the Transformers and BB are so popular these days. i would've assumed even some little kids of the families of Chevy executives would say "hey dad, why isn't BB the same yellow as in the movie?"

Looks good but if I am going to spend 4k on forged wheels I would just assume pick them out myself. Those are ok but nothing special.

So is it safe to assume that this is the new interior for all 2012 models?

I doubt there will be much, if any, cross shopping between the ZL1 and the Transformers edition. The ZL1 is going to be essentially a factory ready race car (it's to the Camaro what the ZR1 is to the Corvette, with Magnetic Ride, Dual Mode Exhaust, PTM, Super Charged engine, etc.) which will likely have a price tag in the mid $50K range, while the Transformers edition is really just $3K appearance package on the 2LT or 2SS.

The ZL1 and the Transformers edition will be two very different vehicles, with two very different types of buyers.

So it looks like White lighting for the dials and radios for the 2012s rather than the Aqua Blue colour of current models - nice!

"Because kids, unless you want daddy to blow an even bigger wad of money on this car that already costs around $30k just because of an insanely expensive paint job that will pretty much kill your college educations, you'll have to settle for Rally Yellow."

The actual BB colour is similar to a colour that I had on my R26 Renault Megane back in the UK - that was called Liquid Gold and was a $2000 option.

It also needed a special process to get it right, and they discontinued it after a couple of years due to excessive manufacturing costs and also the problem with bodywork afterwards when cars were in accidents etc...

It was an unbelievable colour though - worth every bit of the cost!

Is the right paint color just not an easy option? I know they can't just slap on a paint coat on it and be done with it -- there are already people complaining about the paint we have..

I'd like it a lot better if the color was a match -- not just close.

Are those fake carbon fiber decals? If so that is going to look really dumb in person. Not to mention can you imagine having that much vinyl on your car? It would be much better if it was painted.
