Vmax Ported TB

Is there a difference between a new or refurbished TB? My car only has 1800 miles on it, so I'm skeptical about putting a potential used part with possibly 20k+ miles.

I'd never buy a used motor part.

Every member on here is stating that it's one of the best/cheapest mods. But it sounds like everyone is buying the refurbished part. I'm just curious to kno wut the difference wud be if any on a new part besides price.

I would say there is little/no difference because most are off our cars, trading them in. The TB they are porting are were just taken off a running car. I heard that you can buy a brand new one though. I did mine at about 9000 miles...

You do not have to worry about it. We do not accept cores that have any kind of issues and they are all thoroughly cleaned and gone over. The TB is not a wear item. I would say 90-95% we sell are flipped cores and we have never had a problem.

^What Chase said. No worries if you buy a VMAX CNC ported throttle body, a refurb will be like new. Buy from a quality vendor like Apex for the best service.

I put mine on the winter before and probably had about 8000 miles on mine. The one that arrived I would have to guess it was out of another used car but you would not know it. It looks like brand new. Now with just about 20k miles on the car it is still working flawlessly.

Dean.
