My first choice would be to see what GM has to offer.

My second choice would be to look at companies like SLP, GMMG, Corsa, Borla, etc., and see what the bigger name aftermarket companies have to offer.

Personally, based on the muffler shops around here, I wouldn't use them for a custom sytem.

I'm also waiting to see what GM brings to the table. If they offer great sounding mufflers I'll add a full LT headers kit and keep the OEM mufflers. From what I've heard there really isn't much HP to be gained with an atermarket muffler like there used to be. Upraging for me would be purely for sound.

I would get these if they don't cost too much, they look like they'd be loud and flow well because those HUGE mufflers will be gone. They are on the new GMPP catalog.

kit is a much better way to go. ive done the custom way before and it ends up being torn off a week later because its not nearly as clean looking or good sounding. they make kits so we dont have to do custom jobs on cars any more. im going with BORLA.
