L99 vs Lexus IS-F

So my buddy pulled the trigger on the Lexus - , I was worried he would get a CTS-V then it would be hopless for me ........still, I think the Camaro would edge out the IS-F, at least in a straight line. What do you think?

IS-F

0-60 in 4.8

1/4 mile in 13.2

Looks like a drivers race, but how much did he pay for it?

Expected Pricing: $57,000

Lol you could get an Hennessy for that price

Check some other sources fow 1/4 mile times. The Stock IS-F is capable of trappping ~114mph, meaning high 12's will be the norm. Stock L99 has it's work cut out for it....

According to Insideline, the LS3 camaro has the edge by the track numbers. Every other site however has the IS-F in the lead.

The L99 has cut high 12s, which leads me to believe it would be a drivers race.

Driver's race, but the lexus definitely has the upper-hand.

Not really. They both seem to be on average mid-low 13 second cars.

The below are just average test times. Hero runs for the IS-F are much lower....

IS-F:

Motortrend: 12.7 sec @ 113.4
http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...fications.html
Car-Driver: 12.7 sec @ 114 mph
http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...take_road_test
Road\Track: 12.8 @ 113.3 mph

http://www.roadandtrack.com/tests/ca...us_is_f_page_3

Fastest trap speed I have seen for an L99 = 108.7...

Mod UP!

Oh I see. I got like two sources saying like low 13s. Apparently the IS-F is a little quicker.
