Calling C5 owners with harsh stripes
Okay so I want to put hash stripes on my camaro, but I want to do it in plastidip, not to save the money but because I want all my accents to be the exact same color, so if someone would be kind enough to measure these dimensions for me that would be great! (A, B, C and D marked in the photos)

Thanks bro for bringing this up! I am going to plasti dip some on tomorrow morning and am planning on free handing them. Would be great to hear advice on sizing. Allthough I do want mine slightly larger.
Also what kind of angle do they go up? Warning lol

I know B is 1" apart and D is usually around 5" from the fender line. I can't answer the angle though. My stripes are 4" each with a 1" space between them.

Here's some good advice... Prep well. I mean mask off parts of the car that you don't want overspray on. I would say a minimum of 2' perimeter around the hash stripes. And trust me friend READ THE DIRECTIONS!!! If it say don't spray in wind then DONT DO IT. I masked it off with newspaper and can still feel overspray half way down the door and most of the hood. Can't believe it, I sprayed when there was a break in the wind...

3m adhesive remover who cut through that over spray quick. Just re-wax after.

I have always used a microfiber cloth to wipe overspray when using plastidip, and trust me I know about the wind haha

maybe there's something that I'm missing but how are you going to get a good line/edge with plasti-dip? my little experience with it has given me the impression that a clean line, without there being a gap to separate, would be nearly impossible...

You spray 1 thick coat, wait 5 minutes spray a lighter coat then peel the tape immediately and you're good to go

Now I can't fudge it up again. The first time I sprayed that stuff I was so happy with my coat the dip came off with the tape. Oh the look on my face!
