"NEW" 2011 1LT convertible owner

Hi,
I just purchased a new 2011 1LT convert from the dealer here in Moab. I am the first owner so warranty just started. After reading posts I am nervous, I hope I don't need to use it.

Congrats and welcome to Camaro5, but how in the heck do you buy a soon to be 3 year old car "new"? How many miles on the clock when you picked it up?

Bought it from the dealer, with 360 miles on the clock.
It has the full warranty as I am the first owner. I bought it for nearly $2000 below NADA for the car. They wanted to sell it bad. I was ready to walk and they knew it.
I avoided falling in love with it until after I owned it. Now I can't get the smile off my face.
It was built 5/11 and shipped to Moabs sister dealer in Price, Utah where it apparently did a lot of sitting.
I'm nervous about all the convert complaints, it is a second nice weather car for me. I'm hoping to keep miles of my 08 jeep Rubicon which has nearly the same worth.

I'm sure you've been to the convertible threads and seen some of the horror stories but the good thing is that now you are informed and will be better prepared to handle it when issues arise. Good luck with the car and I hope you get many miles of smiles with it.

moabtdog, CONGRATS on the ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
