We won't be picking Elvira up today either. Our dealer doesn't really have any game and can't tell us a new date. Says to try back tomorrow or wait for them to call us.

Kim's not happy.....

Hey everyone...been away out of town for a week with no internet access. Congrats to all who have received their Camaro's. Mine made it to TN in only 8 days. I'm picking up tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait. It's been a long wait...

Check out http://www.fbodygathering.com. That has been a lot of fun for my wife and myself. It is always the last weekend in May.

Cleaning

I'm sure this should be in another thread, but what's the best thing to clean the plastic door and dash inserts in the car to keep them nice and shiny and not scratched or yellowed. Also need to figure out what's the best to clean the rest of the inside with.. Leather seats, dash bits and so forth. I guess Windex will be ok on the glass parts if I spray it on a rag first, since I didn't tint my windows.

I use Zaino Leather in a Bottle (Treatment and Conditioner) on my leather seats and on the vinyl surfaces. Their site is www.zainostore.com

All their stuff is great. I use their #5 and #2 polish. I also use their car wash.

I also use Invisable Glass on my windows. Much better than Windex.

Zaino or Adam's both look good. There is a detailing thread that talks about it all. But now that you mention the plastic strips...I wonder how lemon pledge would work on the plastic door panels and strips? Optometrists use lemon pledge behind the scenes to polish and clean plastic lenses in glasses and that works awesome. Hmmm. Don't try that without checking first. Just a thought. BTW... I had an interesting discovery last night. I put up the Christmas tree and got sap and I mean SAP all over my hands. I thought what can I use since I didnt have any Goo-off. I went to the garage and found Turtle Wax Tar and Bug Remover. It works awesome. Quick, clean and neat! My hands have been beading up water all day! LOL
