Personally, I'd go w/ the long tubes, get the most hp from the deal, and call it a day!
How long could we wait before long tubes are available on aftermarket? Couple months? I would go that way if it's not too long a wait.

from what I've read......Chevrolet Accessories permanently installed at the time of new-vehicle delivery are covered under the New-Vehicle Limited Warranty. If installed after delivery, coverage on parts and labor is for the balance of the new-vehicle warranty or a minimum of 12 months/12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Chevrolet Accessories not requiring installation or purchased over the counter carry a 12-month warranty on parts only. Does not apply to licensed products

Any idea what the cost would be for long tubes and high flow cats? Maybe go that way and keep GM catback

How much do you guys think the performance parts do to increase horse power?

Cold Air

Headers

Cat Back

A Performance Tune

With those upgrades, do you guys think 490hp is asking to much? Think it will touch 500hp?

Well if you get the shorties, cat back and air intake, just get the system calibrated and there you have it.

Hmm, depends on how restrictive the factory pieces are and how conservative the tune is but I'd say about 480-485 hp at the flywheel. I cant wait for SEMA so we can see what some aftermarket companies have in the works for the 5th gen.

I would never pay full price for a system.... I always look out for the group buys, sales, etc. If I can't get at least close to half off I'm not going to bother.
