tall people and your camaro...

Well I'm doing some thinking and research on the camaros and challengers and I saw a review of the new camaros and the drive claimed to be over 6 foot tall. My question is to anybody 6 feet and taller, do you have any issue with the head room in you camaro cause I'm 6'3 or 6'4 and do absolutely love the camaro but if head is a real issue, I may have to settle of the challenger unfortunately so can anybody share anything about the head room, thanks in advance...

I am 6,5" and yes my head rubs but that's just how every car that I have had is and I have gotten used to, and I bet if you really wanted to change that you could I have read of someone changing the seat slider and lowering the seat and if you have ever takin a head liner out of a car there is a bang load of room to be made by modding the head liner that way just depends how bad you want a camaro

6'2" and it's good for me.. If you sit straight up with the seat at a 90 degree angle then you won't fit..but if you have the set back and have a relaxed sit then it'll be good.. Theres plenty of leg room.. Maybe some bending of legs needed to enter to sit but nothing biggie

6'2" with sunroof. My head will occasionally graze the roof if I go over a bump or dip in the road. Wearing a hat doesn't work well either.

Am I ok with it?

This topic has been covered a number of times.

The key piece of information is that it's not overall height that matters, it's the length of your torso as it sits upright in the seat. Assuming the seat is adjusted all the way to the floor, and in a standard upright position, some people who are 6'6" fit just fine. Others, only as tall as 6'2", cannot fit without uncomfortably leaning the seat very far back.

The Camaro is an individual fit...it's recommended to try one on before you buy. Sunroof cars will have slightly reduced headroom.

FYI, I am 6'4" and cannot comfortably drive a Camaro with a sunroof. The seat has to be leaned too far back for my head to clear. I have a much longer torso than most.

6'4" have the seat all the way down and back and no problems.
At some traffic lights I need to lean forward so i can see the lights if my top is up If my top is down definitely no issues.

go check one out at a dealership, It all depends on how you're built, legs, torso, and such, should be taken into consideration

6'8 and no problems. But its funny to watch the faces of people when you slide out of the car.
