Yes, Thanks to all involved! It must have taken quite some time to pull all the roadcourse/autoX threads out.

Nice to know I don't hunt all over the site to talk about autocross and HPDE's.
Thank you Mods.

Aw Shucks.....
I just wish JP was around to help out more. When it comes to suspension setup he knows a ton more than me. T.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same. Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different. I can't wait for my next Track fix. I nominate TBone for moderator of this section.
Anyone have any experience with the BFG Rival's? They come in a 285/35 20. I just picked up a set and am working on getting them mounted on my car. Hope to run them this weekend. Was just curious if anyone had them as I haven't seen much. Usually it's PS2s. |

Here's a review I just happened to stumble across over in the corner-carver section on one of the Mustang forums, quoted in part from a rather larger post. Hope it helps.

Thank you for that review Norm. I am going from the BGF Comp II to these so I'm hoping for a big improvement. Pirelli's prior to that. I found the side wall on the Comp II to be too soft even when aired up. I got some really weird cupping on the outside edges especially on the fronts. They almost looked like paddle tires you'd see on off-road trucks. Other Camaro owners who ran them in my area had similar issues. I got about 1.5 yrs and 10000-12000 miles out of them my car sits about six weeks at a time while I am away for work. I will be running the Rivals on my street rims and use them once a month or so for AutoX (2 days). I hope to be running a dedicated set of wheels and A compound tires for AC by the end of the season. Hoping to get better performance and maybe longer life out of the Rivals.
