Thanks for all your help with your posts to this thread.

I will be selling all my ZL1 goodies from the GM ZL1 outdoor car cover and Roto-Fab CAI base black kit NIB, all the heritage documents to a 1:25 AMT plastic scale kit (NIB). Check classifieds after this coming weekend.

I wish, but no functioning clutch leg compliments of the USAF. A new 2013 Grand Sport triple black coupe and a Edelbrock 599 bhp supercharger kit on the way with FedEx. Got to love the BowTie, especially if you went to automobile college in Flint, MI @ GM Tech in the 60's like I did.

Thank you for your service. our entire staff is prior military (and S.A.M. graduates) so we are a tight knit group here.

that is a great combo we have built many cars using the e-force kit. they are perfect for the guy who wants a little more power great mpg and the ability to retain 100k drivetrain warranty. almost perfect for a dd set-up. we have found right at 700rwhp to be the max those units can produce without nitrous or race gas. so no insane power to be made but sure has the potential for alot of fun times.

Good luck with that, I almost wrote something stupid until I reread the thread and saw the supercharger kit on the way.

When I got my ZL1, I pulled up to the lot and parked in front of a black Grand Sport. I'm a sucker for black cars, so for 0.68 seconds I consider it, which for an android is an eternity, but nah, I wanted a Camaro, it's black too. Honestly I don't think I would have enjoyed the vet as much because I would have babied it, not drive it in the rain, all that sort.

However, you've got the stones to slap all those mods on it right away, that's a different story and you ought to have you a beast.

Lots of reputable shops that can do work like Lingenfelter for less dough. Find someone that will stand behind their work and has stood behind their failures. I used RPM in Garner. Their tune was too aggressive, too lean and it cost me a motor. Their response was awful....."you must have got some bad gas". NEVER again.

Modern Muscle Cars @ NicKey

You generally get what you pay for in the total value equasion.

Initial price is just one component.

I think this thread needs some pics : )

Happy Friday.

Damn. As I type, my Vette is leaving Cumming, GA from Andean Chevrolet. Oh well, it will know it's way back even without OnStar or nav package help .

Here is what I can tell you from my personal experience. I had NicKey custom build my Camaro based on my parameters and input and it couldn't have turned out better. My expectations were exceeded on all levels.

I drive the car good weather permitting, have occasionally raced it and have shown it at National shows as well as Concours events. It has scored as high as 999 points in concours judging.

It was even invited to the Playboy Mansion in California for a car show where I was offered almost double my investment, by a wealthy Sheik.

It was even featured on the Cover of a magazine.

The NicKey shop rate is $100.00 per hour which is more than reasonable for the 100 plus years of experience in that shop. Heck, the local Chevy dealer and muffler shop charge more.

I just don't see how you can beat the total package offered by NicKey Chicago.

It is not just business to them, it's their way of life.
