I had them on my '90 Camaro because i was running a fiberglass hood and everytime i had large oncoming trucks pass the hood would flutter in the front. It was a high quality hood not a cheapo. I ran the hood pins (without the lanyards) for a functional purpose not as cosmetics. In the end...after a head on hit my passenger side hood pin and factory hood latch pulled thru the hood and the only thing that kept the hood in place was the drivers side hood pin.

Unfortunately no. The entire body was tweaked....wrinkle in rear drivers side quarter panel and the hatchback was misaligned by over 1/2".

I won't drill holes in my front fascia for a license plate, I sure as hell will not drill holes in my hood.
