I tried to.....no one would return my emails!

Ended up ordering through Buff Whelan in Sterling Heights.

Yea, they got allocated 15 Camaros and already had 1 pulled for production. They also already sold all 15 of them which is probably why they didn't return your emails. Their brother dealerships, New Hudson and Jay have 14 allocated but only have 5 orders each, so they still have around 9 each for sale in this first round if anyone is interested.

At any rate.. I expect to be in the April production.... will wait and see.

One thing to note, the guy for some reason did NOT tell me that each of the three dealerships got 1 pulled for production - I actually had to dig it out of him. Probably because the 1 they pulled was supposed to be my car.....

I contacted them on October 14...I doubt they got orders for all 15 allocations on the first day.

Yeap, I placed my order on 10/14.

When I called him last thursday he told me they didn't get ANY cars pulled for production for the March build however, YESTERDAY when talking to him he finally admitted that each dealership got 1. I still don't know if 1 is true, but I have no way of knowing if he is lying or not.

Needless to say, none of these 3 cars is mine, even though I was the 1st V8 order at their Feldman dealership. I'm pretty pissed about it but I can't do anything. I expect to have my car put in right away for their next build. If not, well, let's just say I'll be way less cordial than I've been so far with them.

I have to make an adjustment to my statements....

I went to the dealership today and low and behold I was put as priority 1 - as I should have been since I was the first to order.

My faith is slowly returning....

Talked to DeNooyer a few times in Kalamazoo, said they would honor any available GM perk if need be or at the very least give me MSRP as the out the door tax/title cost.

Guys are pretty cool, well liked around the area or so I've heard from some professors who drive GMs around here. But if that Trans Am boondoggle comes through, I may not have to worry much. 330BHP and 165 limited isn't much different from the 1SS's possible 165 limit. Throw a cam, CAI and exhaust down the road along with an engine overhaul, and 77.8K won't seem like much.

I'll only be hurting in the meantime while getting stomped by you guys if I don't get my Camaro.

Yea, at this point I'm just hoping they hold to their "promise" of GM Employee Discount. If they don't well, I'll order somewhere else I guess... Oh AND contact the 6'oclock news. Hehehehe.
