Need to know which clutch for 450rwhp LS3

Good afternoon to all. I grenaded my factory clutch setup when the throwout bearing let go.

I need a new clutch... Car is sitting on the rack at the Chevrolet Dealership -- no warranty allowed.

450rwhp / 425rwtq.

Considerations:
1. This is not my daily driver it is a toy that must remain enjoyably streetable.
2. I spend a lot of time at Road Atlanta for HPDE events and I do drive it relatively hard.
3. New throghout bearing and better slave cylinder is desireable.
4. I ordered a new Tick hydraulic line and fast bleeder setup today.
5. Car has a Competition Cams 227/235 115+2
6. Car makes 450 rwhp and 425 rwtq.
7. I might consider a whipple in the next few years.... but might also just go with a larger displacement LS3. I'm trying to keep overall vehicle weight to a minimum.
8. What is the best combo for the current situation?
9. What is the best combo for a future situation if I go supercharged or 427 big cam?

+1 for the Street Slayer Carbon Twin Disc. You and I are running about the same power and the same driving style. Bought the Street Slayer and have not looked back. Works equally well on the drag strip and the road course. Most recently gave it a hard workout on the 3.2 mile configuration out here at Spring Mountain road course. Wife claims she likes the release of the Street Slayer better than the factory clutch despite requiring a little more pedal effort, the release is much more consistent without that "cammed" release feel to the stock clutch.

I have always been annoyed by the "cammed" feel when realeasing the stock clutch. I just always assumed it was the cam. If the clutch can cure some of that frustration it would be great.

It will eliminate that feel completely. Clutch feels much more connected with steady pedal effort.

Do your self a huge favor and get a Ram Clutch slave cylinder and throw out bearing while its pulled apart. It's pricey ($500) but it is awesome! My bearing and slave took a dump after 4000 miles on my ACT twin disk(3900 @ 450rwhp, less than 100 @ 625rwhp), luckily the clutch survived.

After the new slave was installed the the clutch was adjusted, zero chatter, shudder, issues what so ever with the clutch. The pedal is very responsive now too.

I wasn't real happy with the ACT until it was adjusted with the new slave, now, I love it.

My shop ordered it from Summit and got it the next day.

Give me a call any time and we can go over a few details that suits you.You will not find a better clutch for your 5th gen,we developed this clutch on the 5th gen.The StreetSlayer puts less strain on your factory hydrolics ,it uses surface area to hold the load not brute force. That makes for a much better driving clutch and doesnt require anything but factory hydrolics and a factory slave. THANKS FOR THE KIND WORDS FROM THE StreetSlayer family!
