2011 SS keeps stalling

I have a 2011 SS with a cam, kook headers, vararam CAI, heads and lax intake manifold. Car has been tuned also, dyno came I at 508 RWHP. Car is great but sometimes the car will stall when depressing the clutch when coming to a light or downshifting. Have been back to the tuner twice and car still does it. Keep in mind the last mods I did were the heads and manifold and the car was fine before those last upgrades. It really does it more when the A/C is on . Has anyone else had this problem? Could it be the new manifold? The tune shop can't figure it out . I also have a valve cover oil leak that he can't seem to fix either. Love the car but have been chasing these problems for 7 months now?

Sounds like that last job they did resulted in them not putting it back together properly. Something is loose.

I would look at the fuel trims and check for a vacuum leak.

Just spoke with my shop and he said they went through the fuel system and new rails and checked several times for a vacuum leak but found nothing.
Could it be the LSX manifold. Ive heard about them cracking or something like that internally.

Put your stock manifold back on and see if it goes away

The old mechanic way of checking for vacuum leak is spray a little starting fluid or ether and see if the Rpms change.

If that's not it, it must be the throttle in the tune. My car tuned had to have the throttle upped because it would fall flat when deceleration was out of gear,( coasting). and stall and die. Then would restart no problem but hey I have electric power steering so that helped not kill me.... Not the idle as that should be about 950..... the throttle...... I use Wongs performance engineering in Vancouver he does HP tuning and has the GM software too.

I have a cam so the idle is around 900 or so.

@christian

My car will drop out when I depress the clutch but it only happens once in a while but more frequently when the A/C is on. Did you have the same problem?

You should data log it and then it will show up. That way your tuner can see if it is in the tune or at least give him a direction to look.

Definitely go this route. Best way to do it before throwing parts at it.
