hard tops (coupe) all the freaking way they are by far the most aerodynamic and i hate convertables because it ruins the look of the whole car in my oppinion

A targa top has the exact same aerodynamics as a hard top, and a T-top probably isn't much different either.

I don't see how a coupe is any more or less aerodynamic than the T tops.... exact same lines.

I assumed he was just comparing the Hard Top Convertible to a Soft Top Convertible...

Now THAT, would be awesome...

I also wanted to point out...based on the poll - those who voted for T-Tops...if they don't offer that, can I assume you'll grab a coupe instead?

If there are no t-tops it would be the coupe for me...

Does anybody think there will be a sunroof or moonroof option?

I would think so...they put sun-roofs on everything nowadays...(well, then again, maybe not...)

If no t-tops are offered, I will probably wait for the convertible (more time to save up anyway).

I like the open air idea, I just prefer the t-top version....you can get convertibles all across the car spectrum (Beetle and Eos, Sebring, Volvos, SSR, Mustang, Corvette, Ferrari, Bentley), but you can only get t-tops...well, right now, no where (unless you get the Ford GT and have Gennadi Design Group convert it). In this decade, you could only get t-tops on F-bodies. Go back a couple more years and in addition to the GM sister cars, one or two Nissans (the Z and the Pulsar), and that little Suzuki thing. The 'Vettes and 'Stangs stopped offering t-tops in the late 80's/early 90's too.

I know there are a lot of people out there who like the idea of an open top but don't really want to sacrifice safety and security. In addition to that, I think t-tops would up the cool factor of an already cool car and give it one more edge over the competition. I don't understand anyone's statement about t-tops ruining the lines of the car, but that's for another discussion.

That is exactly how I feel... T-Tops have been an F-Body thing, Let's KEEP them an F-Body thing and put them in the 09!

I also agree with that post...kudos! I'd have a hard time NOT getting a t-top if it were offered, but I'm still sticking with my convertible for now.

Thumbs up T-Tops Baby!

Adds some extra pizzaz without having the entire top down. Allows rude hand gestures to be much more effective when all you can see is the hand sticking out of the top, lol
