VIN # 6125 2SS RS Delivered June 1st !!!
My car was delivered this morning and being prepped right now for pick up tonight!!! Silver Ice 2SS RS with Black Rally Stripes!! They are putting the stripes on this afternoon and will put the car in the show room so I can drive it off the show room floor (With my 11 yr old son in the passenger seat!!).
48 years old (49 on June 2nd!!) and so happy I about teared up just thinking about driving away from the dealer in my dream car. I can only imagine how I'll feel when I do that tonight. I'm sure my car was one of many that hit the Jessup, Md rail yard Saturday. GM's bankruptcy is NOT impacting deliveries so far in any ways. I will post pix later tonight (After I figure out how to!!)- probably after 9.  The only unfortunate thing is that they did drill through the bumper for the plate even though I had told them not too. Salesman is gonna put on some new chrome SS Camaro frames because of it. There was no sense in chewing them out since nothing could be done-probably saved me a ticket or 2 anyways. Atleast they didn't put on their logo. Dealer has been pretty cool, so I kept my cool. What a great day to have off on vacation!! And I get to drive it to work for the first time on my 49th birthday!!!

Good news, congratulations!!! I bet you don't sleep much tonight... haha, I'd be driving around all over the place or sleeping in the car.
