we have used pretty much used all the clutches listed. We only sell the Mantic's and Mcleods at this point, and the RPS's (streetslayers) on a case by case basis. The Ram is also a strong reliable clutch, but unless they have changed their original design the floater plate is loud and obnoxious when the clutch is depressed. I say this not from a salesman stand point, but from a stand out of I am personally trashed on all these clutches in my cars with big power, and so have my customers.

I've installed, driven, and messed with a ton of clutches. I 100% agree with CMS. Mantic if you have the money, if not RXT is good for a bit less.

So torn between mantic er2 for around $750 or rxt for around $950. From what i understand the rxt uses the stock flywheel and er2 comes with one?

ER2 was recommended to me by Mantic in Australia when I was running 585rwhp. They said it was the perfect clutch for around 600rwhp. The dual friction clutch plate design and grooved high carbon steel pressure plate give it exceptional torque handling and heat dispersion for a single plate.

I reached out to them again when I started my engine rebuild and they said to definitely go for the 9000 Twin Plate Series.

My point is this ... if you think you'll stay at your existing power level, then the ER2 will do you fine. If you think there's a chance you'll add 50 to 100 hp over the life of the clutch, then go straight for the twin plate.

The 9000 series has the same pedal response as a stock clutch and handles big power.

Please don't use your stock flywheel, its very dangerous...Since you have a supercharger you need a good twin.I would love to help you out but please get a kit that comes with a billit flywheel..

Stock flywheel does not work with the rxt or rst Twin disc, when they say it works they mean with a early ls1 style flywheel that is completely flat...
