Does changing your order delay delivery?

About a week after I ordered my 1LT, I asked the dealer to make a change and add the spare tire. At the time, I was told they were able to make the change because I was at event code 3000.

Just this last Friday, I found out that I'm at event code 0500. I can't find out what 0500 means. Could my order have been screwed up or delayed because of the change? Any help is greatly appreciated.

When you make a change on your order it actually sets the order event code temporarily back to XXXX. Ex. If you were at 3000 and you made a change it would go back to 2030 or 2051. There is an event code thread on these forums, check it out. 2051 means order was changed through the web. Code 2500 means order preferenced. But you should be back to 3000 in no time. It should not delay it as long as your were only at code 3000.

Thanks - I've searched for info in the 0500 code in this and some other forums. Not having any luck with what that code means.

Was it the code 2500 instead of 0500? That would make sense.

Two different sources said the code was 0500. "The Viz" (to whom I'm very grateful) from this forum and the dealership I ordered from. Unfortunately, neather one knows what code 0500 means. I've found a couple other people on the forum were at that code also, but they didn't know what it means either.
