You need a new snout with any of the blowers.

Are there any real gains with a roots type blower, to justify the cost of NW 102? I know the centrificals/turbos benefit from them but not sure about the others.

About 30 rwhp. The NW 102 still has issues with closing on high horsepower cars.

This is a back to back comparison on a KB JRE Cam Header LS3 90mm vs 102mm,

Boost HP and TQ are all UP

Turbos and centrifugal a don't gain anything really, it's the roots blowers that can gain from the bigger inlet.

A blower or turbo are really sensitive to what is on the inlet side and do not mind as much as what is on the charge side. Good example. The 1000 RWHP LSx 427 in our shop has 3 inch charge piping. I wouldn't use 3 inch intake tubing on anything but a 200 rwhp car!

In short.. if before the supercharger YES if after not so much!
