Yea, and putting a spacer in the rear would leave the middle part of the rail unsupported and prone to bending, time to start saving pennies again some more.

As of today, received all the parts for the conversion. Only two weeks and the backordered switch has arrived. Got it all from gmpartsdirect.com. $555 delivered.

But looking at the harness...it appears it's easy to figure out what plug goes to the seat switch, and there's three identical plugs (different color wires though) that I'm pretty sure they go to the motors. But which goes where? It looks like you could play musical chairs with the plugs to find out which one goes where. It's only about 10% intuitive at this point.

Got a wiring schematic anyone? When it comes to the electrical stuff, I'm not a rocket scientist.

As mentioned, check out this thread for pics. http://www.moderncamaro.com/forum/do...t-upgrade.html

Also, listen to 2SSRS on the harness part number. He has a tendency to know what he's doing. Here's my order from gmpartsdirect.com (before shipping/handling/profit) for retrofit to my 2SS/RS 2010. I bought the 4 bolts to mount the back to the base just in case I needed them. They're kinda specialized and they have thread locker already on them. You'll need to reuse some of the screws, and also reuse the recliner knob on the side cover.

I've had my parts for over a week now. Just haven't gotten around to install them yet. I highly recommend GM Parts House. Better customer service than the other guys. They will meet or beat competitors prices as well.

But I'm done already, and I'm betting it was cheaper through gmpartsdirect.com. I do admit, sometimes their service is spotty at best. What was your total bill through GM Parts House? Mine was $555 and change to the door, with the 4 new seat back bolts. They were around 10 bucks (which after doing this job, I HIGHLY recommend replacing them). When I ordered some parts from GM Parts House before, the price came out to be a few bucks higher than gmpartsdirect (and the parts bags looked like they were drug through dirt but I think the parts themselves are ok). Paying a couple of bucks for better service is fine if you're buying a few things, but if you buy parts like I do, it adds up.

But we're not done ordering parts either. There's something else that's needed. I'll get to that when I do a more extensive writeup with pics.

I also ordered the bolts. I spent $5 less than you because I asked them to beat GMpartsdirect.
