Dude, that sucks

Christmas Eve 2011, I was stopped in traffic in my baby, my Solstice GXP. First car I bought new.

Same thing: Bam. Girl behind me smacked into may car while I was stopped. "Oh I didn't see that you had stopped". There's three friggin big red lights for that hon, and they all worked. Beautiful don't trump stupid or money out of my pocket.

Let insurance do its thing man. Never ever be a 'nice guy' in this situation. You have no way to know what else is damaged. Get insurance involved right now

I don't trust anyone, get accident report. Report too your Ins. & let them go after the other persons ins. co., Was rear end collision totally there fault. And take it too your choice of repair shop. Don't except car repairs until it suits you totaly. Always cary a disposable camera with you. And exchange all required information.

yea, that's probably the best course of action. now, who knows what might happen. she could go home and the BF might decide that since there's no ticket she isn't paying anything. could be a cop or lawyer in the family.............who knows.

i called the police right after it happened and even in the police report she says it is totally her fault so I know i wont have any problems there. We'll see what happens on Monday when I get quotes from 3 different places in my area. She wanted me to go to a shop that she knows of but I told her i made that mistake once and am not doing it again. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR literally when it comes to paint work.

if you have a police report then your ok. worst case scenario you end up in small claims court. but with the police involved you'll get your repairs taken care of.

Shouldn't cost you a dime to repair. The Civic driver's insurance should be paying for this. The cost to them will be about $1,000 to $1,100.

I don't know but every jackass wants to race me even in stuff that would be a big waste of time.
