Dyno Soon. Any tips?

I am going for a Dyno run in a couple of Days.

The only local shop has a "SUPERFLOW CHASSIS DYNO WITH LOAD CONTROL"
http://www.trickpro.net/ourservices/dyno-services

We have any reports of run with this setup?

I hear the Dyno's are hard to do on these V6's. What should I look for or get information on so the run is the most accurate we can get. Any special settings that need to be set correctly?

I am also going to datalog the run's and review on here with everyone. Going to check for knock and other stuff.

Thinking I should be Around 260hp or better.

BBk LT, Ported TB,Black Ice, Mrt v2, Trifecta, CAI intake

I also posted in wrong section
If anyone can move please do to "Camaro V6 LLT Engine, Exhaust, and Bolt-Ons"

Since your stock you could pull off some pulls in 3rd. But do it in 4th just in case. Or do 2 in 4th and 1 in 3rd. That's what I do all the time just to see.

"BBk LT, Ported TB,Black Ice, Mrt v2, Trifecta, CAI intake" is considered stock?

The dyno is more friendly to your car than sticky tires.

Like Tracy said, it should be a 4th gear pull

Assuming the car was running optimally, and the dyno was what I'd consider spot on for drivetrain loss (which both of these almost never happen together lol) I'd consider 265ish rwhp for an auto, and 280ish for a manual to be about right.

Thanks everyone that give constructive information that i can use.

I will do a Datalog at same time and post it up with dyno so we can see if in fact there is any KR doing anything.

FYI this was the response i got back last week when i turned in my log for review.

"We've reviewed the log and it looks absolutely spot on. Infact, this is one of the strongest running LLT cars we've seen a log from. Whoever made those comments about the timing doesn't have any experience with tuning LLT Camaros. They have a "Ton of knock retard" even on the stock tune- this is due to the way GM calibrated how knock is reported."

Also you can see the Knock when doing the pulls going up to 7. Going by this is looks like the Knock is two times more then when i run the car WOT on the road! Only get 4 on WOT.

Nice Kalcorp. I'd say your HP numbers turned out just about right where I expected them, but in reality I'd think your making another 5 to 10 over that. As for TQ numbers, they are definitely high, but no big deal.

That extra timing being pulled on the dyno versus the road must make a difference, which is why I think your in the 270+ rwhp range.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks!

Going buy 275 range and 22% loss from auto.
That about 353hp at crank
