Well, it FINALLY happened. My Camaro came in to my dealer and I got the call!

I raced down there after work and BOOM! ... picked up my black SS and drove him home safe and sound.

Fortunately the weather cleared and warmed up to well over freezing, so there weren't any problems on the roads.

Yay! I thoroughly enjoyed my ride home, but DID notice a heckuva lot of stares going down the highway.

There still aren't many Camaros in my neck of the woods, so my boy stood out loud and proud! All I can say is that the car is frickin' awesome, and better than I thought it would be. When I climbed in the car my wife let out a happy scream and said, "That car is so YOU!" Oohhhhh, yeahhhh.

I'd like to send out a special "Thank you!" to Mike Judge, a member here on Camaro5. He noticed that I was still waiting on my SS early last week, and volunteered to look up my order in Oshawa and see what the hold up was. His offer took me by surprise as I didn't ask him to do this, he just noticed and wanted to help out. How awesome is THAT?! The guy is goodness personified. To our surprise (including my dealer!) the car had JUST been built and was being put on a train to come home out west!!!

So THANK YOU to Mike and the entire Oshawa Camaro Team for putting together one hell of a car for me. I'm grateful for your work, appreciative of the car, and absolutely ecstatic that I finally own a Camaro!!!
